Due to the benefits of physical workouts, many people have started looking for new and easy exercises, and they just follow everything that becomes viral in the social media. There are many good fitness trends, which can benefit your health. Physical workouts are also beneficial for many types of arthritis. However, you need to ditch some of the fitness trends this 2017 because they are not accurate, and they are not beneficial for your health. Here are some of the fitness trends to ditch in 2017.
1. Vilification of carb diet
Don’t worry about high carb diet, and enjoy the meal! This is what many people are saying. But, is it what you’re supposed to be doing? You should be doing it only if you ignore about your health. The study shows that the foods containing high-glycemic index can significantly increase the risk of lung cancer. So, please do check the facts before following the trends.
2. Hot Yoga
Many advertisements are seen everywhere about yoga classes and benefits of yoga. While there are some benefits of yoga, but not all types of yoga are beneficial. Don’t believe anything you see in the advertisement.
3. Companies using the word “healthy.”
The word “healthy” is used by many companies to market their products. But, Are all of those products healthy? Don’t fall in the trap. The FDA even issued a warning against KIND snack bar for inappropriately using the word “healthy.” The warning was issued because the company was misleading its customers.

This fitness trend needs to disappear. Some claim that it helps to increase your performance, but what about the risk of knee, ankle, and shin injuries. In fact, the incidences of these injuries are quite common with this type of risky exercise. It is better to search for some safe exercises to increase your performance instead of this type of crazy workouts.
